‘The 5% Club, an employer-led group that promotes ‘earn while they learn’ work placements across the private sector, has recently published their Employer Audit 2022 report. This report highlights businesses across the country which have been investing in apprenticeships and apprentices and aim to have 5% of their employees on an ‘earn while they learn’ placement.

The audit is an annual employer benchmark which assesses employers’ recruitment, training and development programmes on quality, inclusion and breadth. This year’s audit has seen a huge growth in participation, almost doubling since last year’s audit, highlighting the increase in companies that are investing in the next generation of employees.
