Today marks the start of the 15th annual National Apprenticeship Week – a celebration of the sector which showcases how apprenticeships can ‘Build the Future’ by helping learners develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, as well as supporting businesses in developing a workforce equipped with future-proof skills.
As an opportunity to raise the profile of pathways available to individuals of all ages, as well as promoting the significant value of the sector in responding to critical employer needs and driving economic growth, it is a key moment for The St Martin’s Group.
Throughout this week, members across the Group will host more than 30 events, publish new research findings and insights, and share engaging content across their social media platforms. Collectively representing approximately 15 per cent of the UK apprenticeship market, this activity will help highlight the value of apprenticeships to thousands of students, parents, apprentices and employers.
Appealing to a wide range of audiences, this outreach encompasses a variety of interesting topics including how to embed apprentices in the workforce, interactive Q&A webinars for prospective learners, employer demand for apprentices and how to improve diversity in apprenticeships.
